Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys need another star wide receiver to help Dak Prescott. Despite having a great player like CeeDee Lamb, there’s no doubt the team is looking for a No. 2 on the roster.

For that reason, the controversial owner has confirmed that before or during the draft, they could make a big trade to address the position. “We’re looking at two things that could happen before or after the draft. Two pretty substantive trades. Been working on today.”

This message has immediately sparked rumors about a possible trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers. George Pickens is entering the final year of his contract, and there are no ongoing extension talks, so that could be the splash Jones is hinting at.

Did the Cowboys get a wide receiver?

The Dallas Cowboys could get a wide receiver in the first round of the draft with the No.12 pick. Many experts point to Matthew Golden as the ideal choice due to his speed as an outstanding prospect out of Texas.

However, if Golden is not available or they choose to address another position, acquiring George Pickens through a trade would be an impressive addition to play alongside CeeDee Lamb.

The Steelers signed DK Metcalf a few weeks ago, and given their complicated relationship with Pickens, they may be looking to recover that second-round pick they lost in the trade with the Seattle Seahawks.
