Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets will part ways ahead of the 2025 NFL season. Now, the big question moving forward is where the veteran QB will land. According to a former teammate, there is one particular NFC team where he could dominate the league completely.
Sauce Gardner has been alongside Rodgers during his time with the Jets, unfortunately for them, with poor results. Despite this, they have managed to maintain a strong relationship both on and off the field, which is why the cornerback knows that his departure will be a big blow for the franchise.
The former Cincinnati Bearcats player, and one of the best at his position today, took to his X social media account to make it clear that if his next destination in the league is the Minnesota Vikings, as it could be, Aaron Rodgers will definitely dominate all the statistics.
“If Aaron goes to the Vikings, he might be #1 in all QB stats,” Sauce expressed himself via @iamSauceGardner, adding a crying face emoji at the end.

Sauce Gardner #1 (L) talks with Aaron Rodgers #8 of the New York Jets during warmups before the first half of a preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at MetLife Stadium on August 19, 2023 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Gardner’s comment on X was accompanied by a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz, who mentioned the possibility of Rodgers joining the Vikings to take the place of Sam Darnold, who could end up with the Seattle Seahawks.

What will be Aaron Rodgers’ next destination?
After the Jets announced that Aaron Rodgers would not continue with the franchise, dozens of rumors began to surface regarding the veteran quarterback’s new destination as he enters the final stage of his career.
There was speculation that he could join the Steelers to replace Russell Wilson, or even take on a similar role to Matthew Stafford with the Rams. There was even talk of him staying in New York, but this time wearing the Giants’ jersey.
Although there has been no official information on the matter, the rumor gaining more traction is that the former Packers QB could land in Minnesota if Sam Darnold eventually takes the spot left by Geno Smith with the Seattle Seahawks.
Rodgers’ arrival at the Vikings could be extremely useful even for J.J. McCarthy, who missed the entire last season due to a serious injury shortly before it began. It will be a matter of waiting to see where the former Super Bowl champion ultimately lands.
