Patrick Mahomes will have the challenge of leading the Kansas City Chiefs to new success in the 2025 NFL season after the loss in Super Bowl 2025 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The star quarterback will have a key weapon at his disposal, as the player has extended his contract with head coach Andy Reid‘s team.

The connection between Reid and Mahomes promises to remain a key factor in the pursuit of new achievements for the team. The offseason has brought changes to the Missouri franchise’s roster. Among the departures and arrivals, a familiar face has renewed his contract.

The player who has signed his extension with the Chiefs is none other than Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. The wide receiver wants to establish himself as a key weapon for Mahomes in the upcoming season and spoke to the press, sending a clear message about his future with Reid’s team.

What can Brown bring to the Chiefs?

Kansas City sees Brown as an ideal complement to their offense. The 27-year-old receiver has proven to be a valuable offensive weapon, as he showed last season when he played in Super Bowl LIX, recording two receptions for 15 yards in the 40-22 loss to the Eagles.
