In the 2023 NFL Draft, the Texans decided to select one of the best prospects of this yearâs class. Even though some scouts were initially reluctant about C.J. Stroud, Houston trusted him, and heâs surpassing everyoneâs expectations.

C.J. Stroud still hasnât experienced what itâs like to be intercepted
After five games of the 2023 season, C.J. Stroud has not thrown a single interception. The quarterbackâs accuracy was something that worried scouts, but heâs proving them wrong.
During their matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, Stroud reached 177 pass attempts without an interception, becoming the best rookie to ever do it. He surpassed Dak Prescott, who had 176 pass attempts without a turnover in his first year with the Dallas Cowboys.
During this game, Stroud also surpassed other huge names such as Tua Tagovailoa (152) and Tom Brady (162). It seems like the Texans have finalluy found the franchise quarterback they were searching for years.
