The latest edition of the Super Bowl saw the Philadelphia Eagles crowned as new champions, led by an outstanding Jalen Hurts. After the victory, one of their historic players announced his retirement from professional football but left the door open to return for the upcoming NFL season.

Brandon Graham joined the Eagles in 2010 after being selected with the 13th overall pick in the first round of the draft. Since his arrival from the Michigan Wolverines, the defensive end went on to win two Super Bowl championships, marking the end of his career after his final game played in New Orleans against the Chiefs.

Despite this, Graham left the door open for a possible return to join Nick Sirianni‘s team in the upcoming season. While it remains unlikely, the door hasn’t been completely closed.

“I’m 90% retired,” Graham said via Up & Adams Show. “I’m 90%. The 10(%) is how much I wanna continue training the way I’m training. Training to train for a game is different, but I haven’t really changed that yet. I just wanna go out there and speed it up to where wanna I look good and make sure that I’m staying fit.”

Graham, a legend in Philadelphia

Mentioning Brandon Graham’s name within the Philadelphia Eagles means referring to one of the most successful players in the franchise’s history, being one of the few to have won the only two Vince Lombardi Trophies the team has earned so far.

The first of them came at the beginning of 2018.
