The Jacksonville Jaguars aim to become contenders in the AFC South, and to do so, they are slowly shaping a competitive roster for the upcoming 2025 NFL season. Coming from the Philadelphia Eagles, a former Super Bowl champion alongside Jalen Hurts joins the team to help Trevor Lawrence have a great season.

The latest news reports the arrival of Fred Johnson to the Jaguars, after agreeing to a one-year contract. The offensive tackle joins Liam Coen‘s team to add experience to a position group that showed some weaknesses at times last season.

The news was reported by NFL insider Adam Schefter, who, through his official X (formerly Twitter) account, confirmed the arrival of the former Florida Gators player to Jacksonville.

At that time, Nick Sirianni’s team was able to withstand the attacks from Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs, and with a stellar defensive performance, combined with the talent of Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown, they managed to secure the win with a 40-22 final score.
