<p>During a recent edition of ESPN’s “First Take,” Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith were debating about the chances of the Patriots to land a star quarterback this offseason. While Stephen A. said they should keep Newton, Kellerman made the case for Jimmy Garoppolo and a return to Foxborough.</p>
<p><em>“I believe Jimmy G’s gonna be available. I think Bill Belichick values Jimmy Garoppolo,” Kellerman said. “I think this (Tom) Brady-Belichick thing is not over, although Brady’s in a big lead right now. And I think that Garoppolo, when you consider the money — it’s not what the premier quarterbacks make; it was really more of an upper-middle-class contract than an elite kind of contract. And Garoppolo does the thing that Belichick really likes from his quarterback: He gets the ball out quickly.</em></p>

<p>Let’s remember that Jimmy G had to replace Tom Brady during the season he was suspended for the deflategate controversy and the player did it very well until he went down with an injury. He was expected to be the QB of the future for this franchise but with Brady playing the way he played and is still playing, Garoppolo wasn’t happy in New England.</p>
<p>He was shipped to San Francisco and the 49ers actually reached the Super Bowl with him as their leader. He missed the entire 2020/21 season with an injury and recent reports suggested the 29-year-old player could be involved in a trade for Deshaun Watson.</p>
<p>Another option for him, if somehow the Niners decide they don’t need him anymore, is to go to New England and have his revenge without Brady being around. That would be huge for both parties but it’s still unclear how they would make this work. But hey, when Bill Belichick wants something, he uses every available resource to get it.</p>

<p>Before that, the King had the chance to try his luck on another sport. He had already played football in high school, being a very good player at St. Vincent-St. Mary in both basketball and football. Well, James recently revealed he was confident he could get the job done.</p>

<p>Ok, this is definitely a bold idea but it could be beneficial for both teams. There is a catch though, and that’s what version of Prescott the Texans would get. He suffered a season-ending injury last campaign and there will be doubts about his level when he returns to the field.</p>
<p>That could be a bad thing for the Texans but if they pull the trigger on this move and get the version of Dak we saw last season, that move could be very good for them. If they somehow can land pieces to build around the young player, Houston could be ready to have a competitive season.</p>
<p>As for the Cowboys, landing Watson could be great, too. This player posted incredible numbers last season, demonstrating he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the game right now. It would be easier for Dallas to say yes to this move but they have expressed their loyalty to Prescott in the past. <p>NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport had a little talk with McNair and of course, the Deshaun Watson drama was brought up. The player just signed a contract extension last year and the owner expects him to honor that deal.</p>
<p><em>“Really, the situations have nothing to do with each other except for the fact that they are on the same Houston Texans team,” Rapoport said on NFL Network’s NFL NOW. “I did talk to Cal McNair, as I mentioned earlier, of course, I asked him about Deshaun Watson. He said, ‘that’s a different issue. That is not our focus.’ But McNair did add there’s a lot of misinformation out there. He said, ‘I’ll leave it at that. Deshaun is a member of the Texans. <p>Andrade was brought to justice but was later released on a $500 bail. More impressively, some reported that he had cashed in on a <strong>$375,000 bet,</strong> as he had placed$50,000 worth of bets at +750 odds on a prop bet that said there would be a streaker on the Super Bowl. Go figure.</p>
<p>Now, however, it seems like the sportsbook has <strong>voided the bet due to tampering, </strong>claiming that they don’t want to encourage that kind of behavior and that they had no knowledge of the situation.</p>
