Lionel Messi arrived in Paris on Tuesday to sign a two-year deal with PSG, following days of rumors after Barcelona notified that he wouldn’t continue at the club last Thursday. PSG made the official announcement on social media and tomorrow at4:00 am (ET) Messi will talk to the press for the first time as a PSG playerat Parc des Princes auditorium.

Since the news of Messi’s departure from Barcelona broke, PSG called the Argentinian to negotiate. According to multiple reports, PSG offered the Argentinian a two-year deal, with an option of one-year extension, with a salary of $29.4 million net per season. It has been reported that the player completed the medical tests, before visiting his new stadium, where hundreds of fans were waiting for him.

Before the announcement, PSG posted several videos with references to Messi, like a video with the No. 10 Argentina jersey or six Ballon D’Orin front of the Eiffel Tower.
