Manchester City beat PSG in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 2020/21 semifinals in a highly-expected matchup for soccer fans. Marquinhos put the Parisians in front early in the game, but they couldn't hold onto their advantage and commited two serious mistakes.

Kevin De Bruyne put the equalizer attempting a cross which finally slipped in Keylor Navas' goal, and minutes later Riyad Mahrez completed the comeback for Pep Guardiola's boy with a free kick goal that passed through the wall of Paris.

Fans were looking forward to see this clash between two sides that were constantly searching for UCL glory in the last years but failed to accomplish it. This time, one of the two could be finally fulfilling that dream, and the Sky Blues seem to be one step ahead. As expected, social media was flooded with soccer enthusiasts reacting to the game in the Parc des Princes

Two mistakes gave City the advantage

Manchester City went out to the pitch looking to score from the first minute, but they struggled to capitalize on their opportunities and even found themselves losing before half time. Marquinhos was once again on target for the hosts, but their luck didn't last long.

In the second half, City finally found the net in a surprising way. Two efforts unexpectedly ended up beating Keylor Navas, as De Bruyne's cross got in and Mahrez' free kick shot slipped throught the wall, and fans reacted with hilarious memes on the Internet.

Pep Guardiola's boys and Mauricho Pocchetino's side will clash next week for the second leg of the Champions League semifinals. They will meet on Tuesday, May 5, at the Etihad Stadium, and the visitors will try to avoid conceding unbelievable goals like tonight.
