If Lionel Messi‘s departure from Barcelona to join PSG wasn’t already shocking enough, reports from Italy state that Cristiano Ronaldo is also considering leaving Juventus. The Portuguese star is entering the final year of his contract with the Italian giants and his future seems to be up in the air.

Ronaldo, 36, hasn’t accomplished the goal of tasting UEFA Champions League glory in Turin so far and last season the Old Lady haven’t even won the Serie A, ending a nine-year reign. There are countless rumors regarding Cristiano, but it seems like he won’t stay at Juve for much longer.

Real Madrid are not an option with Los Blancos coach Carlo Ancelotti himself denyingany links with a potential CR7 reunion. However, over the last few hours these three teams have emerged as potential destinations for the forward:

Paris Saint-Germain have made it clear they are willing to stay busy in the transfer market whenever they see the chance of landing a big-name player. They have already signed the likes of Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Georginio Wijnaldum for free, something they might be expecting to do next year with Cristiano, according to Sky Sports.

Spanish outlet AS have also reported that if Kylian Mbappé ends up joiningReal Madrid next season, then the Parisians would go after Ronaldo. It seems unlikely that the move will happen this summer unless Mbappe does leave now.

The obvious candidateto sign Cristiano Ronaldo if he decides to end his stay at Juventus would be his former Premier League team. Ever since he left Manchester United in 2009, the Red Devils were looking forward to his return.

United are actually incredibly well-stocked at the moment withJadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, among many others, but Cristiano would still providea huge boost to their squad, of course. However, this move seems more likely for next summer, when his deal at Juve runs out.

Shockingly, Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport has reported that Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered the Portuguese megastar to Manchester City. The Citizens, however, seem to be keen on signing Harry Kane this summer.

But if they fail to land the Tottenham striker, then they might switch their attention to Cristiano. It remains to be seen, though, if he is willing to join United’s rivals and “betray” the Red Devils fanbase.
