Manchester City are understood to be in advanced talks with Aston Villa to complete the move, which would turn Grealish the most expensive British player in history. The Daily Mail hasreported that the Sky Blues would acquire him for $138 million.

The Citizens’ lifelong rivals are also interested in landing the Aston Villa superstar, despite they wouldn’t be able to afforda record-breaking move like their neighbors. Manchester United would also run from behind in this race as they are reportedly focused on Jadon Sancho‘s arrival. However, if City’s negotiations break down, the Red Devils could step in.
