Murray, 34, slowly has been recovering from his hips operations that almost made him retire in 2019. While the Scottish isn’t certainly at the same level that made him one of the most feared players in the tour, he still got what it takes to put the best players in trouble. He proved it in the US Open, when he pushed Stefanos Tsitsipas to a five-set match. And he did it again on Monday, when he beat teenager star Carlos Alcaraz in three sets.

However, Alexander Zverev, who is being investigated by the ATP due to allegations of domestic abuse, is in a really good state of form. The German couldn’t defeat Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the US Open, but he just secured a spot in the ATP Finals 2021. Now, he has the opportunity to win his fifth title of the year. He beat Jenson Brooskby in the second round.
