The American, World No. 60, defeated fourth seed Andrey Rublev in three sets 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 on Monday. It’s the first time he’s reached the third round of a Masters 1000 event and his second victory over a Top 10, after he beat Alex Zverev in Acapulco last year. 

Meanwhile, Norrie, World No. 26, is having a great moment in the year. The British was close to lift his second ATP title last week, but he lost the San Diego Open final to Casper Ruud. At Indian Wells, Norrie beat American Tennys Sandgren and Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut.
