<p>The <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/los-angeles-lakers-t101482" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Los Angeles Lakers</strong></a> and <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/los-angeles-clippers-t96054" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Los Angeles Clippers</strong></a> are having a terrific 2020/21 <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/nba-t19117" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>NBA</strong></a> season but just as everybody in the league, they want to be the best team in the association and have the best players on the roster.</p>
<p>Over the past two years, they have made interesting moves and although most people think they are done, the reality is that you never know with these two teams and their front offices, which can pull off incredible moves.</p>
<p>Recently, both teams were linked with the same player and although it would be an extremely hard job, the Lakers and Clippers are reportedly interested in landing Washington Wizards’ <strong>Bradley Beal</strong> before the trade deadline.</p>

<h2>Lakers and Clippers could be interested in Bradley Beal</h2>
<p>According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, both the Los Angelenos teams would love to be involved in a trade for the struggling Wizards star, whose team can’t win regardless of how much effort he puts into games.</p>
<p>Beal currently averages 35.4 points while playing nearly 36 minutes a game, but that hasn’t been enough for the Wizards. They have won only 3 games in the season, being the worst team in the league. During a recent edition of ESPN’s The Jump, Wojnarowski revealed that the Lakers and Clippers could land Beal, but that is a really hard job.</p>
<p><em>“There’s not a team in the league who wouldn’t love to find a way to add Bradley Beal… I think for teams like Golden State or the Denvers, teams who have assets who are contenders when they’re healthy… Now I’m not saying they’re going to do it, but you look at those teams and say ‘they have enough to get in the conversation.’</em></p>
<p><em>“And that’s going to be the decision for teams all over the league. Of course the Lakers and Clippers would love to be able to get involved in that, but do they have the draft picks? Do they have the young players it would take that would top a package from some other teams? Maybe not.”</em></p>

<p>The Lakers gave a bunch of draft picks to the New Orleans Pelicans in the trade that brought Anthony Davis to Los Angeles in 2019 while the Clippers did something similar when they landed Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder.</p>
<p>The addition of Beal would add more power to any of these teams but it remains to be seen if they find a way to acquire the player. These two squads are already favorites to come out of the West this year and trading for the shooting guard would put them above their competition.</p>

<p>The quarterback has been linked with a series of teams in recent days and after it was revealed that “over half of the league” called the Texans to inquire about Jackson, things are getting more confused for the young star and his team.</p>
<p>One of those teams was the <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/new-york-jets-t102085" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>New York Jets</strong></a>, who have been linked with various quarterbacks in recent weeks and Watson is one of those. However, not everybody is sold on the idea that Deshaun is what the team needs right now.</p>

<h2>Todd McShay says Deshaun Watson won’t bring a huge upgrade to the Jets</h2>
<p>Todd McShay, an NFL analyst for ESPN, recently claimed that the Jets were better off with Sam Darnold instead of trading for Deshaun Watson, as the latter would only be a “slight” upgrade for the New Yorkers.</p>
<p><em>“To me, it just doesn’t make sense. I don’t think you’re getting a huge upgrade,” McShay said last week on the network’s “First Draft” podcast. “If I’m the Jets sitting at No. 2, I’m saying, you know what? I love Deshaun. He’s a really good player. I might even think he’s slightly better than Sam. But if Sam’s content and Sam wants to help us build this thing, we have picks two and 23 in the first round this year; 34, 66 and 87. So, five picks in the first 87. That should be at least four starters that you’re getting right there and two really impact starters with that second and 23rd overall pick.</em></p>
<p><em>“And then, by the way, we have two first-rounders next year, a first-rounder in the second and a first-rounder in the third. So, you’re talking about four first-rounders, two second-rounders and three third-rounders. Count those up. I mean, you’re building half of a roster right there in the next two drafts.”</em></p>
<p>McShay agreed that Darnold still makes rookie mistakes but he can improve his game. Watson had an impressive season in 2020 despite having a poor team that didn’t help him succeed in the AFC.</p>

<p>He is way better than Sam Darnold and could do more than him with the O-line the Jets have right now. The <a href="https://us.bolavip.com/nfl/sam-darnold-expected-to-continue-as-new-york-jets-starting-quarterback-next-season-20210118-0008.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jets are reportedly sticking with Darnold</a> and will do as exactly as McShay said but this must be one of the worst takes in NFL history.</p>
<p>They need a player like Watson that will lift their level. They are making big moves this offseason and trading for Deshaun would be the cherry on the top for the Gang Green, who are needy of results.</p>

<p>Mike Puma of The New York Post reveals that Jackie Bradley Jr could be the Mets’ new target for this offseason. He is not George Springer but the player can make a good addition to the team, although his fit with the team will be very the hardest part of this move.</p>
<p><em>The Mets, in search of improved defense at the position, have continued talks in recent days with Bradley’s camp, according to multiple sources, after Springer’s decision last week to accept a six-year offer from the Blue Jays worth $150 million.</em></p>
<p><em>Bradley, 30, slashed .283/.364/.450 last season for the Red Sox, who remain in the mix to re-sign him, according to reports. The Astros and Giants have also been linked to Bradley, who won a Gold Glove with the Red Sox in 2018.</em></p>
<p><em>But Bradley is hardly an ideal fit for the Mets given that he bats left-handed and would be playing in an outfield that also includes lefty swingers Michael Conforto and Brandon Nimmo.</em></p>
<p>This could be an interesting addition for the Mets, but as Puma explained, they already have three left-handed players on the outfield. Bradley Jr has been good for the Red Sox and according to Alex Speier of The Boston Globe, they still have hopes to re-sign the player but the Mets could ruin their plans.</p>
