The Rangers may react angrily to the information provided by Panarin. At the end of the day, a player like Gavrikov was brought on board to help the team on the ice and build a winning culture in the locker room—not serve as a PR assistant for other teams. 



However, whether it was Gavrikov pumping the tires on Los Angeles or any other factor, Panarin would’ve made a decision either way. Whether he chose the Kings or another team, that side would’ve offered New York a similar deal, as the Blueshirts were essentially forced to work something out before the deadline.

Sullivan has seemingly grown tired of sounding like a broken record with his postgame statements for the team. With the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/new-york-rangers">Rangers</a> dragging a 2-8-0 form over their last 10 outings, the ‘hope core’ type messages are simply not doing it anymore for New York.

It taxes some of our top players because we use them in the kill. Though Sullivan highlighted the amount of penalties taken by the Rangers, the numbers paint a different picture. The other possibility is Panarin re-signing in the Big Apple, but with him turning 35 next season and the Blueshirts trending toward lottery-pick territory, fans in New York City shouldn’t hold their breath.



<h2>Rangers could hit reset</h2>



When all else fails, it may be time to hit the reset button. For the Rangers, that appears to be the case. It’s a tough pill to swallow for an organization that reached the Eastern Conference Final just two seasons ago. However, nothing seems to be working right now for New York, and the sooner the Blueshirts accept that reality, the easier it may be to begin a rebuilding phase. 



That’s far easier said than done, and the fact that two-time Stanley Cup–winning head coach Sullivan hasn’t been around long enough to visit every attraction during his time in New York City only makes the situation more complicated. Things are never simple in the City That Never Sleeps, and Panarin’s situation is not the exception.
