After another loss in the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl">NFL</a>, this time against the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs found himself in a post-game altercation with a reporter. Diggs clashed with Mike Leslie of WFAA, and hours later, the player took the time to clarify what happened.



During the game, Leslie took to his X account to criticize the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/dallas-cowboys">Cowboys</a> player for not giving his all on a specific play involving TE George Kittle. Diggs himself addressed this situation directly: “I just felt like it was unnecessary,” the CB said regarding Leslie’s tweet.



“I just felt like he was trying to use my name for clicks. And after the game I just happened to see it. I looked, I clicked on it, I seen who it was, and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s right here. I just saw you.’ So I went up to him, and I just spoke how I felt,“ Diggs addressed the situation on teammate Micah Parsons’s podcast.



“I feel there was a lot of emotions just losing, coming off the game, and we’re fresh off the loss. I’m a competitor, so I’m wanting to win. So just a lot of emotions. I kind of let my emotions get the best of me. But at the end of the day it still doesn’t make it right for anybody just to be saying anything or just trying to throw dirt on your name or make you seem like you were doing bad or a bad job, because I felt I played my hardest game,” Cowboys player also added.

<h2>Trevon Diggs reflects on performance</h2>



After another defeat this season, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/dallas-cowboys">Diggs</a> became the target of criticism regarding his performance, particularly for a specific play that drew the ire of reporters. In response, the Cowboys player was very straightforward about the situation: “If I was wrong, like if I gave up the play, gave up the touchdown or something like, I can’t say nothing,” Diggs said.

And I just didn’t like that.”

After the video of Trevon Diggs confronting Leslie following the loss circulated, Leslie shared details about the brief exchange, explaining that Diggs had come out of the locker room to address the tweet. According to Leslie, Diggs told him he “doesn’t know football” and “can’t do what he does.” While Leslie agreed with that statement, he noted that Diggs did not explain what he was thinking during the play.



“Trevon just came out of the locker room to approach me about this tweet. He said I don’t know football, and I can’t do what he does. He and I are in agreement about that. He didn’t offer an answer as to what he was doing on the play, however.”

“I would just say last year I was a fish in the water,” Parsons said of his rookie season.“I was still growing so much mentally and as a player, and I think when you’re a rookie first getting in the league, you’re trying to see if you belong or not. I think I kind of know where I want to be and where I’m at in this league.I believe in myself and my confidence.”

<h2>Diggs Was The True DPOY, Says Parsons</h2>
People criticize Trevon Diggs for the yards and touchdowns he gave up last season. Even so, Parsons believes he should’ve won Defensive Player of the Year because of his 11 interceptions:
“Without a doubt I thought he was the best defensive player in the league last year,” Parsons said. “We’ve seen 20 sacks before. But in this era, we’ve never seen anyone reach 10-plus interceptions. So it’s disrespectful to me, because I think he deserves all the credit in the world and deserves to be named a top-five corner if not the best corner in the league.”
At the end of the day, individual accolades mean nothing if the team doesn’t win football games. Diggs and Parsons sure can help the Cowboys in that regard, so let’s see if they can put their money where their mouth is.
