Two squads in the AL Central -- the Chicago White Sox (16-17) and the Kansas City Royals (12-20) -- play on Monday at 8:10 PM ET, at Kauffman Stadium. The White Sox will give the start to Johnny Cueto, and the Royals will counter with Brad Keller (1-3).

The White Sox are coming off of a 5-1 loss to the Yankees yesterday. Michael Kopech was credited with the loss after going six innings, giving up three earned runs on one hit while striking out three.

The Royals enter the contest following an 8-7 victory against the Rockies yesterday. Josh Staumont was the winning pitcher in the contest for the Royals. He went one inning without giving up an earned run on one hit, while striking out one.
