That’s why they just signed him to a 4-year, $215 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid player in the Association for the fifth straight season. He’s about to make a whopping $48 million in playing salary alone, with that number jumping to $59 millionby the final year of his deal.
Curry is set to be one of the highest earners of the sports industry next season. With some of his endorsement deals, he’s projected to make north of $78 millionin 2022, according to Forbes.
That sure sounds like a lot of money. But hey, that’s what you have to pay if you want to have the greatest shooter in basketball history on your team. He’s definitely earned every single penny.
