The Los Angeles Lakers are having a terrific 2020/21 NBA season, picking things right where they left them last year when they won their first NBA title in 10 years in the infamous Orlando bubble. They’re ready to defend their throne and so far they’ve been just great.
The purple and gold have been earning a lot of praise for their displays this season and the Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr had some good things to say about them after his squad clashed with the current champions.
Kerr gave some flowers to the team, especially to LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the leaders of the team that have played just great together. They are the reason why the Lakers are favorites to win and as long as they remain healthy, the team will be a menace for the rest of the league.

The Golden State Warriors are going through a sweet moment and Kerr is well aware of that. After beating the Lakers and Spurs, they look really great, but Kerr knows the Lakers are the best team in the West and probably in the league. Per Dan Woike of The Los Angeles Times:
“That’s been kind of a hallmark of a lot of championship teams, when you have championship-caliber stars who complement each other on and off the court,” Kerr said.
“They have two of the very best players in the game who complement each other very well and are very comfortable in their respective roles,” Kerr said. “It’s obviously a hell of a foundation upon which to build.”
This is a great moment for the Lakers and Kerr knows that. He must know one thing or two about winning championships and has identified the good things of this Lakers team and how LeBron and Davis can take them to the promised land again.
The Warriors keep trying to be competitive and the past two games have shown that they can put up a fight against anybody. Yet, they are still away from the Lakers, just like the rest of the league at this point.
