The 2020/21 UEFA Champions Leaguesemifinals began in an exciting week that left plenty of expectation for the second leg games. Four teams are still alive in the tournament, but we’re getting closer to seeing two of them being eliminated.
Bayern Munichcan no longer retain their crown. Hansi Flick‘s side seemed to be in a convincing path towards a back-to-back championship, but a shocking PSG victory in the first leg sealed Mauricio Pochettino‘s boys a semi-final spot despite losing in Paris.
It’s time to break down how the four teams remaining in the race for the title, and the next dates of the competition. The teams that are competingin the semifinals are: Paris-Saint Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester City, andChelsea.
2020/21 UEFA Champions League knockout stage format
After the Round of 16 was played, the restrictionsdisappeared for the rest of the teams still in the competition. The draw of the quarter-finalstook place on March 19. The First leg of theQuarter-finals will be played onApril 6 and April 7,while the Second leg onApril 13 and April 14.
Then the First leg of the Semi-finals are set for April 27 and April 28, and the return games on May 4 and May 5. TheUEFA Champions League Final is scheduled forMay 29, at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
