The 2020 MLB awards have ended with the last two awards we had yet to know. The 2020 MLB MVPs were named and two players that led their teams to compete this season earned the coveted prizes.

Jose Abreu of the Chicago White Sox and Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves have won the award after having magical seasons with their respective teams. Both players took their teams to the postseason this year. Abreu became the third born Cuban to win the award while Freeman is the first Brave to win it since Chipper Jones in 1999.

They really got to work this season and these are the result of a shortened yet spectacular season for these two players. Everybody is in awe of their performance and their colleagues took to social media to congratulate them.

Abreu and Freeman received a lot of congratulations, especially from other big names in the Majors. Players congratulated them on their great season, including the people that won the awards for their teams before them.

This season they couldn’t compete for bigger things but they are on the right track. Abreu and Freeman can compete for the World Series next year and revalidate their MVP title with more spectacular performances.
