The Golden State Warriors are still studying their options for the upcoming 2020 NBA draft and they have plenty of them, according to recent reports. The Dubs could make different moves using their No. 2 overall pick but nothing is certain now.

The buzz around the league is that the Warriors are getting offers to get rid of that pick and land an established superstar. Most people believe they would get a big man with that pick and forget about the rest of the teams on draft night.

However, the Dubs could make good use of their position in the draft and get the most of it with teams trying to trade up for such a selection. It seems like more teams than we believe are ready to do business with the Warriors, but they have the last word on this matter.

Warriors are getting ‘interesting offers’ for the No. 2 overall pick

According to Brian Windhorst, the Warriors are receiving ‘interesting offers’ from other teams trying to persuade them to trade the No. 2 overall pick before November 18. Apparently, they don’t see this option with bad eyes and seeing the offers that they are receiving, this is a very appealing position for Golden State.

“Golden State has definitely had talks about moving down,” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst revealed on Monday in the latest episode of “The Jump”. “They have been offered some interesting packages from what I have been told, but nothing that has struck their fancy just yet.”

The Warriors have been linked with almost every player expected to be a top-5 pick next week, but most people believe, if they don’t trade their pick, they would get a big man, with James Wiseman looking like the favorite candidate for them.

The Warriors are entering a very challenging season after losing Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry due to injuries last season. They will be without Kevin Durant this season and even so, they are considered one of the contenders in the West in the upcoming campaign.

Whatever path they follow, the Warriors are expected to take the most advantage of it and compete as they used to do from 2015 through 2019.
