Even though the Memphis Grizzlies haven’t taken the court since January 18, their young star Ja Morant is confident he can get his first call for the All-Star Game this season. NBA COVID-19 protocols have prevented the team from playing the last couple of games.

They’re expected to play the San Antonio Spurs this Saturday, trying to return to action winning against a direct rival. Meanwhile, the rookie has found a way to keep motivated and ready to return.

After missing a couple of weeks due to an ankle injury, Morant returned and helped the Grizzlies continue their good streak, winning two games with the player on the lineup, moving to 7-6 in the stacked Western Conference.

The Grizzlies were having a great time before the league decided to suspend their games due to health protocols and Ja can’t wait to take the court again and show he’s become an All-Star already, or at least that’s what he’s showing on Twitter.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft didn’t waste time and as soon as the league announced that the All-Star Game voting was open, Morant dropped his name, promoting himself for the big game.

The 21-year-old has been one of the funniest players in the league since he arrived and he’s showing a lot of confidence every time he plays and now we know that translates to social media. Last season, the Grizzlies were two wins away from the playoffs, and this year, the young player wants to take things to the next level.
