Unsurprisingly, Orlando Magic legend Penny Hardaway seems to lean towards Michael Jordan - who he played against - even though he said that LeBron James isn't that far behind in the race either:
“Honestly, I’d hate to compare guys, but right now, to me, Michael is the GOAT and LeBron is not far behind. It’s just my opinion," the legendary guard claimed in an interview for Undisputed.
Truth be told, you could go either way and there wouldn't be a right or wrong answer. They both have the numbers and accolades to back up their case, so in this point, it seems like it's just a matter of who you like the most and that's it.
