You don’t have to be a genius to know that not any basketball player can make it to the NBA. I mean, if for one second you ever thought that you could take down an NBA player, even a bottom-of-the-bench, garbage-time kind of player, you just can’t.

NBA players are superhumans. More than his athletic condition and unmatched skills for the game of basketball, they just go through different workouts, different routines, with meticulous preparation and film study for their games.

That’s what makes it so difficult to stand out from the rest of the pack. I mean, you’re playing with and against the 1%, going at it with the greatest basketball players on the planet. So yeah, even a scrub is likely to be pretty good.

And that’s why Michael Jordan and LeBron James have always been so impressive. Regardless of their teammates or competition, they dominated the game almost at will for more than a decade, thus the never-ending GOAT debate between the two.

Penny Hardaway Says Michael Jordan Is The GOAT Over LeBron James

Unsurprisingly, Orlando Magic legend Penny Hardaway seems to lean towards Michael Jordan – who he played against – even though he said that LeBron James isn’t that far behind in the race either:

“Honestly, I’d hate to compare guys, but right now, to me, Michael is the GOAT and LeBron is not far behind. It’s just my opinion,” the legendary guard claimed in an interview for Undisputed.

Truth be told, you could go either way and there wouldn’t be a right or wrong answer. They both have the numbers and accolades to back up their case, so in this point, it seems like it’s just a matter of who you like the most and that’s it.

So, let us know guys, who’s your GOAT?
