Josh Allen was named NFL MVP last season, but the sting of falling short of a Super Bowl berth still lingers. Now, with the 2025 season approaching, the Buffalo Bills have added a new key weapon—who’s already made a strong statement about his new quarterback.

After a recent stint with the Cleveland Browns, Elijah Moore returns to the AFC East to join Sean McDermott’s squad. In recent comments to the media, Moore revealed that one of the main reasons he chose to bring his talents to Orchard Park was the opportunity to play alongside Allen.

According to the wide receiver, his decision to join the Bills was ā€œvery, very easy,ā€ largely because he sees the opportunity to become one of the primary weapons for the league’s current top player. Moore also mentioned he was looking for a team where his ā€œtalent isn’t really thereā€œā€”implying it hadn’t been fully recognized elsewhere—and said he found exactly that in Buffalo.

Tre’Davious White, another source of inspiration

The overall experience within the Buffalo Bills roster often serves as a source of inspiration for the young prospects joining Sean McDermott’s team. Such is the case for rookie Maxwell Hairston, who expressed his excitement about learning as much as possible from veteran cornerback Tre’Davious White.

ā€œI can’t wait to learn,ā€ the former Kentucky Wildcats cornerback stated via team reporter Maddy Glab. ā€œI can’t wait to pick his brain. Man, that’s a vet, and I know he’s gonna teach me so much.ā€

ā€œI feel like I’m so versatile that I can come out, play man, or I can play zone, I can play off-man, I can play press-man, I can disguise,ā€ Hairston also added. ā€œSo, I’m happy to just be able to go into an organization with a beautiful scheme that will allow me to get the ball back.ā€

The talented cornerback was selected by the Bills with the 30th overall pick in the first round of the latest NFL Draft, marking one of the boldest moves made by GM Brandon Beane and the Buffalo front office.
