Deshaun Watson’s name has been circling the NFL for a couple of weeks now and the offseason will clarify what is going to happen with this player and his future with the Houston Texans, his first and only franchise in the league.

After he requested a trade from the team, everybody has wondered where he will play next and it’s fair to say the 25-year-old signal-caller isn’t missing suitors after becoming one of the best quarterbacks during his time with the Texans squad.

Still, people have tried to guess where his next destination is and some have come up with very interesting ideas. The Denver Broncos have been heavily linked with the player, as well as the New York Jets, Giants and even the New England Patriots sounded as a landing spot for the man.

Fox Sports’ analyst makes huge claim about Deshaun Watson’s next team in the NFL

FS1’s Colin Cowherd recently talked about the future plans for Watson this offseason, naming a dark horse to get the player’s services if he finally forces his way out of the Texans in the upcoming months.

“I’m going to say the Panthers acquire Deshaun Watson,” Cowherd said. “Why? Because you can give Houston everything they want.

“A bridge quarterback, draft pick, three first-round picks, and Christian McCaffrey star power. Lose Deshaun, you need some star-power, this is an organization that needs first-round picks.”

“And remember Matt Rhule has power in the organization. He’s a brand new coach. David Tepper, the owner of that team, he’s a roll-the-dice guy. A highly aggressive, Steve Ballmer-like owner, they would make a move like this. They give up multiple picks, Christian McCaffrey. So I would go with Panthers acquire Watson.”

The Panthers currently have Teddy Bridgewater as their starting quarterback and landing Watson would be a major upgrade for them. The trade that Cowherd proposes could work for both organizations, especially with the star-power part.

This is a developing story and nobody knows how it would end so the only remedy for people is to guess what is going to happen with this player. We saw big moves with Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff, JJ Watt agreed to part ways with the Texans and a lot of people believe Watson is close to finding a new team in the league.
