“It would mean a lot, especially with the coaching staff they have,” Ward said via MitchellRenz365 on X. “Chip Kelly, the things that he can do with the quarterback moving him outside the pocket, the concepts he’s done.

“He does in the intermediate game. It’ll fit my play style and Pete Carroll, he’s a legendary coach and so if I’m lucky to go there, I know it’ll work out,” he finally concluded.

“I’m not gonna include myself—I’m not in the league yet. I would say Jayden Daniels, Pat [Mahomes], Lamar [Jackson], Josh Allen is up there, and Jalen Hurts,” Ward said.

Ward reflects on his opinion about the Combine

Cam Ward made the bold decision not to throw at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, a move that sparked quite a stir. Regarding his choice, the quarterback shared his thoughts on the matter.

“I don’t think [the Combine] is something that helps me. I’ll wait and throw with the best receivers in the country at my pro day,” Ward told reporters. “The film says everything about me—I truly believe that. What separates me from everyone else is my approach to the game, my mentality.”
