To that end, along with the arrival of Justin Fields as their new quarterback, they have already secured the addition of another offensive piece, in this case, a former Super Bowl champion.

This was reported by Jets Media, who, through their official X (formerly Twitter) account @NYJets_Media, announced the arrival of the offensive player, with his most recent stop being with the Los Angeles Rams under Sean McVay.

Johnson already knows what it’s like to win a Super Bowl

The New York Jets are setting their sights on becoming a serious contender in the AFC East, and to do so, they are strengthening their roster with talented players, including those who already know what it’s like to win a Super Bowl.

This is the case with Tyler Johnson, who, at the beginning of 2021, was crowned champion alongside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, under Tom Brady and Bruce Arians.

At that time, the Bucs defeated none other than Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs 31-9, thus securing the LV edition of this important NFL trophy.

Another important player joins the Jets

Tyler Johnson’s arrival isn’t the only one confirmed in recent hours for the Jets. In this case, a cornerback has joined Aaron Glenn’s team, coming from none other than the Houston Texans.

“Jets agreed to deal with former #Texans corner Kris Boyd, a key special-teams contributor @KPRC2,” the information was reported via social media.
