Dak Prescott is trying to get back on track, but the situation does not look good. Now, the Cowboys quarterback has given a worrying response about his injury that should frighten the team.

The beginning of the 2022 NFL season was not the best for Dallas. In Week 1, Dak Prescott got injured and the ghosts started haunting the team. Despite winning three games in a row, they still ned their starting quarterback, but he has giving a worrying response about his health that frightens the Cowboys a lot.

Dak Prescott was set to be the leader this season for the Cowboys. Unfortunately, he got severely injured during Week 1 game against the Buccaneers and of course the team got instantly worried about this situation.

Even though Cooper Rush, Dallas’ backup quarterback, is having a great moment, the Cowboys are still waiting for Dak Prescott’s return. But apparently this is not going to be soon as he has revealed some worrying information about his injury.

Jerry Jones reveals what Dak Prescott told him about his injury status

Dak Prescott is not having the season he expected to this 2022. In the game against the Buccaneers,Shaquil Barrett, Tampa Bay’s Linebacker, slammed the quarterback’s hand and he had to get surgery in his right thumb.

Although the Cowboys though he could get back soon, the quarterback has given a worrying response to Jerry Jones, Dallas’ owner, about his health and if he could play in the next weeks.

“No, not well enough to play,” said Jerry Jones about Prescott’s response to if he was able to grip the football now. The owner revealed this information toon Audacy’s 105.3 The Fan (Dallas), adding that they do not think that Cooper Rush’s great moment could give him the starting quarterback role once Dak is back.
