The reigning Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, continue to reinforce their roster ahead of the upcoming NFL season. This time, the front office locked in one of Jalen Hurts’ most important teammates with a significant contract extension.

As the Eagles look to defend their title, maintaining a dominant defensive line remains a top priority. Last season, Philadelphia’s front seven played a pivotal role in their postseason run, causing problems even for the high-powered Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

With Hurts at the helm, the Eagles are determined to prove their 2025 championship was no fluke. The franchise is aiming to build a dynasty and remain in contention for years to come.

To that end, Philadelphia has agreed to a contract extension with Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Jurgens is now under contract through the 2029 season, with his agent, Ryan Tollner, confirming the news.
