NFL News: Keenan Allen, Gabe Davis and other wide receiver free agents who could join Aaron Rodgers on the Steelers

Aaron Rodgers has his sights set on a Super Bowl run in Pittsburgh, but he'll need more firepower to get there. With the Steelers still searching for a true No. 2 receiver, big names like Keenan Allen and Gabe Davis are on the radar.

Aaron Rodgers needs a No. 2 wide receiver. That conversation seems inevitable for the Pittsburgh Steelers, despite Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan having said multiple times that they feel comfortable with Robert Woods, Calvin Austin III, and Roman Wilson.

However, the Steelers also said they were comfortable with George Pickens, and then traded him to the Dallas Cowboys. That’s why, even with the arrival of DK Metcalf, it still seems like an unresolved issue for Arthur Smith’s offense.

The big question is: with training camp less than two months away, which wide receivers are available for a last-minute move to try to boost the Steelers’ chances of winning the Super Bowl?

What wide receiver will the Steelers sign?

Keenan Allen, Gabe Davis, and Amari Cooper are the top wide receiver free agents available in the NFL. For several weeks now, Davis has been the name most strongly linked to a potential move to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The trade option looks more complicated. Although there are rumors about Allen Lazard potentially reuniting with Rodgers, the Jets don’t seem willing to make that move.

Obviously, in the least likely scenario, Tyreek Hill has also been mentioned in NFL rumors, if the Dolphins decide to clear cap space, especially with the ongoing controversies surrounding the star receiver.
