Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 of the NFL. Optimism is very high for the home opener after the road victory against the Jets.

Aaron Rodgers showed that, despite being 41 years old, he still has the qualities to turn the Steelers into Super Bowl contenders. His four touchdown passes and an error-free game are clear signs of that.

However, the defense has raised a lot of uncertainty. The Jets’ running game was dominant, and they were never able to contain Justin Fields. That’s why, heading into the matchup with Seattle, this could be the key factor.

Who got injured with Steelers?

Joey Porter Jr. (hamstring), Derrick Harmon (knee), and DeShon Elliott (knee) will not be available for the Steelers in the game against the Seattle Seahawks. Three very important absences on defense.

To cover for Elliott’s absence, the Steelers have already made a move and signed safety Jahmyr Gibbs. However, Porter’s absence in the secondary could be very significant, as he forms the 1-2 punch in coverage with Jalen Ramsey and, in certain packages, with Darius Slay.
