Jalen Hurts, alongside his teammates, will look to lead his Philadelphia Eagles back to the Super Bowl. It won’t be an easy task, but head coach Nick Sirianni and his coaching staff have made key moves to bolster their quarterback and strengthen the team’s offensive firepower.

The latest reports confirm both an important departure and a new addition to the Eagles’ offense, as they face the tough challenge of having to defend their title from last season, which saw them crowned as the new NFL champions.

On one hand, the front office made the significant decision to part ways with Tyrion Davis-Price, who will now need to seek new opportunities in the near future. The running back joined the team last season from the San Francisco 49ers and was part of the championship roster in New Orleans.

In contrast, Giles Jackson has officially joined the Philadelphia Eagles, arriving as an undrafted free agent from the Washington Huskies. The wide receiver had a strong performance in the NCAAF and will now be part of the 90-man roster moving forward.

Uncertain future looms for two Eagles Draft picks

The Eagles selected 10 players in the recent NFL Draft, in addition to signing 9 undrafted free agents in the following days. With the 53-man roster limit looming, the cutdown process will be a major hurdle for many of them — including some of those just selected days ago at Lambeau Field.

While it’s well known that GM Howie Roseman typically avoids cutting drafted players, two defensive prospects still don’t have a guaranteed spot on Nick Sirianni’s roster: Cameron Williams and Myles Hinton.

“I’ve been watching Lane Johnson since I was like sophomore year of high school,” Williams said about his favorite player. “Being able to watch him play is a blessing. His length and his pass protection and his quick feet are amazing.”

Everything will depend on how the upcoming days of minicamp unfold, as key decisions will be made regarding the future of several players whose spots on the team are still up in the air.
