Rams’ key weapon Davante Adams gives honest assessment on time playing with Aaron Rodgers

Davante Adams is known as one of the best wide receivers of the last decade in the NFL. Most of his name came by the chemistry shown when playing with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Now both are on separated paths, but the wideout has spoken about his time with the future Hall of Famer.

Adams joined the Dan Patrick Show and he discussed pretty much everything. From playing with Rodgers, to meeting LeBron James and plenty more. However, when speaking about Rodgers, Adams was clear: it “changed my life“ he said. While it might be seen as Adams ‘glazing’ his former quarterback, this goes beyond the football aspects.

Adams is a really close friend of Rodgers. Their chemistry on the field was second to none. However, it goes off the field as well. The New York Jets, for example, brought Davante Adams to the team last season to appease Aaron Rodgers. It’s rumored that they even lived together for a while when Adams just arrived to the Big Apple.

Aaron Rodgers might need to say Adams changed his live too. The last two MVPs Rodgers won should be split among the two. It’s impossible Rodgers did that without Adams.

On the Jets, Rodgers’ season was also looking like an absolute car wreck until the team acquired Adams. With him, Rodgers was able to finish the season with pretty decent numbers. The two have nurtured each other and are big parts of their respective NFL legacies.

Who is in a better situation now?

Rodgers has been clear, he will play one season for the Pittsburgh Steelers and then call it a career. However, the Steelers have been active this offseason, leading us to believe they will go for a deep push before saying goodbye to Rodgers.

As for Adams, he is not in his prime now but is still fresh off a 1,000-yard season. Now, he is on a very good team, with a very good offense. He might be in for a deep playoff push with the Rams. However, he will serve as WR2 for them, since Puka Nacua is always the first option.
