La Liga has seen another matchday pass when the two biggest Spanish clubs clashed in another edition of El Clásico while other clubs climbed or lost a big opportunity to get a better ranking in the 2020/21 La Liga season.

Real Madrid stole a huge win over Barcelona at Camp Nou on Saturday with a 1-3 result against the Blaugrana. Federico Valverde, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric gave Los Blancos a very important victory that put them one point behind Real Sociedad, the surprising leader of the standings right now.

Real Sociedad smashed Huesca 4-1 at Anoeta to record 14 points in seven games. Mikel Oryazabal opened the scoreboard to The Whites and Blues, putting the 2-1 on the scoreboard before Portu and Alexander Isak finished the job for the current leaders.

Sevilla lost against Eibar, at home, while Atlético Madrid did the job against Real Betis, beating them 2-0 at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano. Granada, another revelation of the tournament, beat Getafe as visitors with a lone score by Ángel Sanchez.
