He's done it again. Lionel Messi scored for Argentina in the first half of a huge game against lifelong rivals Uruguay on Matchday 5 of the South American 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

Last time the PSG star showed up in Buenos Aires, he had an amazing night where he surpassed Pele as the South American player with the most international goals. Now, he continues to add to his tally as he put La Albiceleste in front.

Lionel Scaloni's side leads Uruguay in a hard-fought game thanks to this fantastic solo goal by Messi that strangely ended up in Fernando Muslera's goal. Check out the video of the goal here.
