NCAA College Football 2021-2022: List of games for Week Zero

The start of NCAA College Football is upon us as the action kicks off on Saturday, August 28th, 2021. Here is a rundown of Week Zero games in NCAA College Football.

Week Zero is here in NCAA College Football! The College Football season kicks off this Saturday with five matches. The Alabama Crimson Tide will look to defend their NCAA title against the rest of the 129 teams that make up the NCAA College Football pack.

After a tough 2020 due to the global pandemic fans will be allowed back to NCAA College Football stadiums and players will have less-restrictive transfer rules and players will be allowed to have paid endorsers.

Week Zero is the official start of the College Football season and games can be viewed across many of the major networks. Here is the rundown of games for Week Zero of the NCAA College Football season.

Week Zero Games for College Football

Nebraska at Illinois – 1 p.m. – Fox, fuboTV
UConn at Fresno State – 2 p.m. – CBS Sports Network, fuboTV
Hawaii at UCLA – 3:30 p.m. – ESPN, fuboTV
UTEP at New Mexico State -9:30 p.m.
Southern Utah at San Jose State – 10 p.m. – CBSSN, fuboTV

One of the biggest stories this season in College Football is the restructuring of the Playoff from 4 to 12 teams and that Oklahoma and Texas are now in the SEC moving from the Big 12. On Saturday the Nebraska-Illinois game will kick off at 1 PM EST with UConn at Fresno State at 2PM.

A total of 25 College Football games will take place between Week Zero and Week 1 which kicks off on September 4th. A total of 130 teams will compete to determine the best college football team in 2021.
