According to Pete Carroll, two running backs did not practice on July 30, 2023, due to injuries. Kenneth Walker is dealing with a groin injury that will keep him out of action for a while. And Zach Charbonnet is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury.

“Sometimes when so much focus goes, it just rubs guys wrong I guess, or whatever. But I’m thrilled that we won that game. It was significant for a lot of reasons beyond just it’s the first game of the year and all that.”

When you look at Wilson’s stats, it’s not like he had a bad game or anything like that. He threw for 340 yards, but only had one touchdown and completed 29 of 42 passes. But inthe end, he wasn’t comfortable enough to give his team the win.

He’s been very consistent. We’ll just see what happens. There’s two more weeks of practice too after this. With a timeline, I had a set thought of what we would do with the timeline but that got disrupted. We’re going to use all the time we need. (…) These guys are so even right now.”
