<p>An ultra-violent and brutal tag team that was one of the major teams of ECW. The team was known for their brutal use of weapons from trash cans, crutches, and staple guns. <p>A powerful team that was way over as the WWE’s best baby face talents had feuds with Andre the Giant and the Million Dollar Man. The Mega Powers were more interesting due to their story surrounding their breakup than winning titles. Backstage the Mega Powers was a sly way for Hulk Hogan to stay relevant as a top wrestler on the card as the Macho Man rarely defended his WWE title on PPV or any major television event.<br></p>

<p>In the interview, Hogan began with the outlandish claim that he was instrumental in bringing famed musical executive and future American Idol judge <strong>Simon Cowell </strong>to America. While the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/sports/20-classic-wwe-rivalries-20230728-BUS-37264.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WWE</a> had worked with Cowell in a music album in the mid 1990’s, Cowell already had a well-established career in the United Kingdom.</p>

<p><strong>Hogan claims that he, Mr.T, and Michael Jackson, were together at a wrestling event at Wembley Stadium with Make-A-Wish kids</strong>, of which no photograph exists, the stars saw the kids during the 80’s and 90’s and this led to an encounter with a dying child and a 12 track album with Jimmy Hart.</p>



<h2>Hulk Hogan discrepancies in Make-A-Wish story</h2>



<p>According to Hogan, a dying child was brought to a wrestling show at Wembley Stadium with his parents. According to Hogan the event was either in the 80’s or 90’s, he never pinpoints the exact date. Hogan went on to perform but saw that the child was not in the audience during his match. Hogan not only claimed that the dying boy had “body odor” but he passed away mid show.</p>



<p>Hogan, who claims he wrestled the main event went on to speak with his “then manager” Jimmy Hart and wrote 12 songs for the child who passed away, all in one night.</p>

<p>Because Hart had a contract with Select Records, they were able to get Simon Cowell to produce the album. According to Hogan the album, which was produced in 1995, was number one on Billboard for eight weeks when in fact it was the Child Billboard chart, and it was not number 1.</p>

Sadly, when he finally did make the leap, in WCW he was a watered down version of his ECW self and in WWE he was nothing more than a hardcore wrestler.</p>



<h2>“Dr. D” David Schultz<br></h2>

Kaufman’s classic feud with Jerry Lawler would culminate in a famous on-air fight on a 1982 episode of Late Night with David Letterman. Kaufman played off his heel run as just an overconfident man thinking he was a professional wrestler, fighting women, when he really wasn’t.<br></p>

<p>In the build up to their WrestleMania match, Flair claimed to have slept with Elizabeth before she had ever met the Macho Man. This riled up the Macho Man and their match was a classic resulting in a classic Ric Flair balding at the biggest event in wrestling. Both would one up each other as Flair lost and later re-won the title.</p>



<h2>‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin vs. The Rock</h2>

<p>The stars of the attitude era, the smooth-talking Rock against the cruising and beer drinking Austin. The two in the ring were electric, with two major WrestleMania clashes and eventually when it was time to retire, Austin lost to the Rock.</p>



<h2>The Rock Vs. Triple H</h2>

<p>Triple H is a legendary wrestler with no real classic match, but during the attitude era he was one of its biggest villains. The feud with The Rock began back when the two were facing off for the Intercontinental title and would elevate with the emergence of DX and the Corporation.</p>



<h2>Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant</h2>

<p>The build up to WrestleMania III was huge, as Andre became jealous of Hogan and sided with Bobby Heenan to take his place as champion of wrestling. Hogan would take weeks of abuse from Andre and eventually in front of 93,000 fans in the Pontiac Silverdome Hogan slammed Andre for a historic win. Eventually the feud would lead into the events of WrestleMania IV where Randy Savage would become champion.</p>



<h2>Ultimate Warrior vs Randy Savage</h2>

<p>The Warrior’s best matches were with the Macho Man, when Warrior was the champion, he denied Savage a title shot, resulting in Savage aiding in the eventual defeat and loss of the championship for Warrior. Later the two faced off in a career ending match that truly brought out the best of both.</p>



<h2>Stone Cold vs. Bret Hart</h2>

<p>It was a classic 180, Stone Cold Steve Austin was the bad guy heel getting all the cheers, while Bret Hart was the baby face who was getting jeered, as the wrestling audience changed so to did it’s heroes. Stone Cold and Hart would feud in classic matches and Hart put Stone Cold over in an I Quit Match where both won due to their excellent chemistry together. Wrestling classics.</p>



<h2>Hulk Hogan Vs. Randy Savage</h2>

<p>The Mega powers collided, when a jealous Randy Savage began to beat Hulk Hogan over his “lusting for Elizabeth”. The feud would go on for about two years with Hogan rewinning the WWE title and Savage looking to get one over again on the Hulkster.</p>



<h2>The Undertaker Vs. Kane</h2>

The feeling was that two missiles were about to impact at the same time, their match, despite some flaws, is an all-time classic, no promotion has ever been able to generate such a perfect build up and payoff to a match since.</p>

To his credit the Warrior got better as time went along, although he was very difficult to work with.</p>

Sting was a WCW heavyweight champion on many occasions and was a true company guy.</p>
