Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady will clash in a generational duel next February 6, trying to lead their squads to the promised land. The young quarterback will try to take his Kansas City Chiefs to win their second straight Super Bowl while the veteran will be looking to win his 7th Vince Lombardi trophy with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Whenever they go at it against each other, the matches are generally hard-fought and very entertaining and this one, with everything on the line, won’t be the exception. We will see a duel between the current NFL GOAT and the one that can overtake him and that only makes this game more special.

It’s still early for both of them, but Mahomes already started talking about Brady, jumping on the train of Old Tom Brady jokes. The Chiefs’ captain recently remembered when was the first time he heard of that man Brady.

Patrick Mahomes says he’s known Tom Brady since the day he was born

The 2018 NFL MVP was recently asked about his first memory of Tom Brady and he didn’t miss the chance to remind everybody that Brady is really old. Mahomes joked saying that he’s known TB12 since he first came to this world.

“It’s probably September 17, 1995, when I was born,” Mahomes said, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. “He’s been around for a while.”

He’s not wrong, Brady has been around for a while now. He entered the league when the Chiefs’ quarterback was only 5 and now they’re playing in the Super Bowl LV. This is a big story for both players and fans can’t wait to see what they will bring this season.

The 6-time NFL champion is 43 now and he will keep playing at least until he’s 44. Pat can surpass what Brady has done in the future but he needs to stick around as long as his February 6’s rival has.
