Not so long ago, the college basketball community was talking about how JuJu Watkins could lead the USC Trojans to the national championship. She was in the midst of a spectacular season.
Unfortunately, her stellar campaign was cut short early in the postseason. She sustained a season-ending ACL injury in the NCAA Tournament, thus ending her teamās hopes.
But as tough as these days have been for the young guard, Watkins recently admitted that multiple colleagues who had been through the same thing, such as Paige Bueckers, reached out to her to share her wishes and insight on her recovery.

āI didnāt realize until my injury that there is a whole ACL community,ā Watkins said in an appearance at a Fanatics event.

ACL injuries are usual in basketball, and while itās terrible, itās just another part of the game. Hopefully, it wonāt take a toll on Watkinsā game, and sheāll return to her previous level.
