The 2021 Major League Baseball season is finally upon us. All teams will enter the year with the same record and the same hopes and expectations, even if they’re unable to keep up the pace with the true contenders.

For this season, the extra-inning rule with a runner in the second base and the seven-inning doubleheaders will still be enforced, while the expanded playoff pool is yet to be determined by the league and the Players’ Association.

July 11-13, 2021: MLB Draft

July 13, 2021: 91st All-Star Game at Truist Park in Atlanta

July 25, 2021: Hall of Fame induction ceremony

Aug. 12, 2021: MLB at Field of Dream

Aug. 22, 2021: MLB Little League Classic

Oct. 26, 2021: World Series Game 1

Nov. 3, 2021: World Series Game 7

2021 MLB Season: Predictions And Odds

As most people would expect, oddsmakers believe that the Los Angeles Dodgers have the biggest odds to win the World Series (+350), they’re followed by the New York Yankees (+550), San Diego Padres (+800), and Chicago White Sox (+850).

On the other hand, the Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, and Pittsburgh Pirates all hold the worst odds to win the Commissioner’s Trophy at the end of the season (+15000), followed by the Arizona Diamondbacks (+13000).
