The story of the week was how we were going to watch Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady face off when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosted the Green Bay Packers for Week 6 of the 2020 NFL regular season.
However, once both gunslingers took the gridiron, it seems like just one of them showed up, as Rodgers had one of the worst outings of his career and his team dropped their first game of the year with a tough 38-10 loss.
It seemed like the Packers were going to steamroll past the Buccaneers early in the game, as they jumped to a quick 10-0 lead and were dominating the Bucs almost at will. Then, a pick-six by Rodgers fueled a 38-0 run to seal the game.

Aaron had channeled his innerHingle McCringleberry with a touchdown celebration from the skit show “Key & Peele” but his rushing score was eventually called off. Needless to say, that led to countless memes that just aren’t going to go away any time soon.
Rodgers finished the game with 16 completions on 35 attempts for 160 yards and 2 interceptions with 0 scores. That’s just the third time in his career that he throws multiple picks without a touchdown and obviously, the internet was ruthless about it. Check out the funniest memes and reactions here.

It’s still too early in the season and that 4-1 record it’s still pretty solid. Moreover, this was just the third time that Brady and Rodgers faced off and they were tied with one win apiece before the game, so it’s now like Brady owns him.
Then again, whenever two of the greatest quarterbacks of all-timemeet, there’s always going to be people ready to tear the loser apart and laud the other, but they should know better than to count one of these legends out or make them mad.
