The Jacksonville Jaguars want to reemerge as one of the NFL‘s best teams, something that has been long gone. One of the names that everyone wants to see is receiver-slash-cornerback, Travis Hunter. The head coach Liam Coen stated what the preseason game vs. Aaron RodgersPittsburgh Steelers holds for the rookie.

Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team reported that Coen confirmed that Travis Hunter will play on Saturday against the Steelers. Even more importantly, the coach announced Hunter will play at both wideout and corner during this game.

Much has been said about how Hunter will split his snaps so watching him play on both sides during preseason might give us a hint on how Hunter will be utilized.

Will Trevor Lawrence suit up?

Trevor Lawrence will also be part of the game. According to head coach Liam Coen, he spoke to Lawrence and the quarterback wanted to play. In fact, Lawrence also voiced his opinion about playing on preseason.

There is one key position without a clear starter

The running back room in Jacksonville is a very intriguing competition. Tank Bigsby and Travis Etienne Jr. are listed as co-starters. Then, you have rookies Bhayshul Tuten, Ja’Quinden Jackson and LeQuint Allen Jr.

Tuten was poised to be the best rookie but after training camp, the latest reports indicate that Allen and Jackson have really stood out and preseason might be the deciding factor on how snaps are divided in the future.
