Video: Cristiano Ronaldo scores brace for Al-Nassr with his weak foot

Cristiano Ronaldo came up with moments of magic for Al-Nassr in their AFC Champions League game against Al-Duhail. Watch his amazing goals here.

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to prove he has enough left in the tank to steal the show in Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese superstar has once again scored a wonderful goal for Al-Nassr, this time on Matchday 3 of the AFC Champions League group stage. But only a few minutes later, he added another beautiful finish to his tally.

61 minutes into the AFC Champions League meeting against Al-Duhail, the former Manchester United superstar extended his team’s lead from outside the box. The best of all was that Ronaldo did it with his left foot.

Anderson Talisca and Sadio Mane put the Riyadh-based outfit in front, with Ronaldo making it a 3-0 game with his goal. The visitors came back with two goals to reduce the gap, before Ronaldo made it a 4-2 game. Michael Olunga once again hit back for Al-Duhail after 85 minutes, adding drama to the game. But in the end, Al-Nassr held on to their lead and won 4-3.

Effortlessly, Ronaldo sent the ball to the top left corner with his weak foot. Of course, this fantastic goal sent the thousands of fans at the Al-Awwal Park wild as the Portuguese extends his goalscoring record in 2023.

When it looked like the visitors were threatening to make things level, Ronaldo made sure to restore a two-goal lead for the hosts. After 81 minutes, Cristiano scored his second goal of the night also with his weak foot.

With Ronaldo in excellent form, Al-Nassr aim to challenge both for domestic and continental glory. Their recent victory over Al-Duhail sees them lead Group E in the 2023-24 AFC Champions League with 9 points thanks to three wins in as many games. Persepolis are second with six points, whereas Al-Duhail and Istikol Dushanbe have one point each.

In the Saudi Pro League, however, Al-Nassr have work to do. Even though they have the tournament’s top scorer, Luis Castro’s men are third with 22 points, four shy of leaders Al-Hilal. Ronaldo and company will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 28, against Al Feiha.
