<p>The Lakers had other targets in mind, according to Dave McMenamin, including center <strong>Jonas Valančiūnas</strong>, who signed with the <strong>Wizards</strong>, <strong>James</strong> <strong>Harden</strong>, who stayed with the <strong>Clippers</strong>, and <strong>Klay Thompson</strong>, who joined the <strong>Mavericks</strong>.</p>

<p>Juice WRLD tragically passed away at only 21 due to an accidental overdose in December 2019. <p>Woj reported Thompson agreed on a <strong>three-year, $50 million</strong> contract to join forces with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving at the Mavs, which proves that money wasn’t the player’s priority this offseason.</p>
