In fact, the Seahawks haven’t defended their home turf against the Rams since August 2023, a game Seattle won 19-16 in overtime. Of course, the Seahawks team of two or three years ago was in a much different place than the contender they have become in this 2025 campaign.

The 2024 season was his best with 562 yards and 42 receptions. This season, the 26-year-old has only played seven games and has only five catches for 173 yards. Atwell is actually a very decent wideout. Of course, he is not Davante Adams, but he is a really good weapon, too. To be fair with Atwell, while he has only five receptions, he is averaging a career-high 34.6 yards per catch, including a league-leading longest reception with 88 yards.

<h2>Stafford also has other weapons</h2>

The running game with Kyren Williams and Blake Corum is becoming more and more effective. Also, the Rams have Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen, and Terrance Ferguson as tight ends and they all are very talented.

Notably, this is the third time that Myers has earned these honors, and the second time he’s done it with the Seahawks. He won it in 2018 with the New York Jets, in 2023 in Seattle, and now again.



The Seahawks are still marching strong in the race to win the division, and if Sam Darnold continues to regress and struggle like he’s done lately, Myers will be crucial to their aspirations.

His 789 receiving yards demonstrate how valuable he has been to the offense, and he also leads the team in touchdowns, surpassing Nacua and Parkinson, who have 12 touchdowns combined.

Xavier Smith is another name that could be added to the list to help the team in the game, with 11 receptions for 173 yards this season. Still, there he was. Rivers completed 18/27 passes for 120 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the dying seconds of the game. Rivers, had two great opening drives that unfortunately didn’t end as touchdowns, but he still showed poise and calm in the pocket, despite being really slow.

The Seahawks, which are one of the most dominant defenses in the NFL had some issues trying to stop a 44-year-old. Credit has to be given to Shane Steichen and how he drew the gameplan. If that’s how the Colts will look like, they won’t be an easy team to beat by any means.

Next week, the Seahawks and Rams will play once again and Seattle could not only win and tie the series, but get a better record than the Rams as well.



Macdonald said it best, “Great football teams find a way to win&nbsp;games.” The Seahawks proved they are a great football team indeed. The first seed of the NFC is still open and what happened in Week 15 could have plenty to do to shape up this team for the postseason.
