The first time Patrick Mahomes won a Super Bowl was early in his third year with the Kansas City Chiefs, he won that ring just after closing out the 2018 season as the NFL MVP along with multiple other awards.
But Patrick Mahomes lost in his second Super Bowl appearance in 2020 against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady is a legend just like Troy Aikman was in his time playing for the Dallas Cowboys.

Troy Aikman played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 to 2000, during his short career he won three Super Bowls (XXVII, XXVIII, XXX) with a total of 32,942 passing yards, 4,715 pass attempts, 2,898 pass completions with 165 touchdowns and 141 interceptions. Mahomes has 151 touchdowns and only needs 15 touchdowns in the upcoming season to pass Aikman.
Mahomes is young and is sure to set a touchdown mark bigger than Aikman’s in 12 years. But Aikman’s few passing touchdowns are strictly related to the fact that during his playing time Aikman used his running backs for most of his plays.
