Ever since he made it to the NBA, Kyle Kuzma drew contrasting takes and plenty of attention. That’s part of the perks of being a youngster in the Los Angeles Lakers, but the media and fans always took it up a notch with him.

Kuzma wasn’t always easy to be empathetic with. His attitude and talk often drove NBA fans crazy. He was often linked to other teams in trade rumors but managed to stay put and win a championship in LA.

But now that he’s gone and ready to kick off the next chapter of his career, people wanted to know once and for all whether the reports of his alleged beef with LeBron James were true or not.

Kyle Kuzma Says It’s ā€œAll Loveā€ Between He And LeBron James

ā€œIt’s all love. All love for sure,ā€ Kuzma said, as quoted byFadeaway World. ā€œA couple of days after I got traded, we were hanging out, chilling or whatever. I came in as a Laker that’s all I know. It was family from the jump. And even leaving, it was still family. You know getting calls or texts from Jeanie or Rob or equipment managers or people that work the front gate. Everyone is like, ā€˜Hope you have a successful career. You’re doing this and that.’ So no bitterness, no nothing for sure.ā€

Colin Cowheard Said LeBron And Kuzma Didn’t Get Along

That contradicts a report by Colin Cowheard from several months ago. According to him, one of the reasons why the Lakers were looking forward to trading him was because he didn’t get along with The King:

ā€œThat’s sort of Los Angeles delusion. The Los Angeles Lakers have players, KCP is a solid player, hot and cold, not what Portland wants. Kyle Kuzma – LeBron doesn’t get along with him. They’d love to move him, he’s kind of expensive. It’s not the kind of contract you can’t move, but it’s not necessarily team-friendly considering he disappears in big spots for the Lakers,ā€ Cowheard told Heavy.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t seem like there’s any hardfeelings between them. They were good together, they won a ring, and now it’s over. Maybe we just shouldn’t read too much into this.
