Aaron Rodgers was sacked four times in the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets. This is a concern for the future, although the veteran quarterback relieved some pressure from his offensive line and stated that he has full confidence in Broderick Jones despite the criticism the player has received for his performance.

ā€œI just like to talk him directly. I really like Broderick. I’ve got to know him during training camp and I like what he’s about. I like his attitude. He’s a genuinely positive guy and I got a lot of confidence in him watching my back.ā€

Although the Steelers looked very good, scoring 34 points in that victory over the Jets in Week 1, the big issue was the lack of time given to Rodgers during several moments. Considering that the former Super Bowl champion is 41 years old, his limited mobility and the absence of protection could be the key factor to derail any championship hopes.

How many sacks has Aaron Rodgers taken with Steelers?

Aaron Rodgers has taken four sacks with the Pittsburgh Steelers after their first game against the Jets. However, the quarterback is confident that offensive line coach Pat Meyer will make the necessary adjustments ahead of the matchup with the Seahawks.

ā€œI thought the protection was good for most of the game. There’s a couple of fundamental things to clean up, but, Pat will take care of those guys and I just got to get the ball out.ā€
